The Summerside Journal June 18, 1942 reported that in the absence of the pastOr,
REV. WA. Patterson, the service "in the United Church on Sunday evening was con- ducted by the Young People’s Union. The president, George Currie, presided. Doug- 1213 Patterson read scripture. Eldred Hardy offered prayer. The president read an ad- dress. The choir was composed of young people.
