Salvation Army Hall, later the first Pentecostal Church of the Nazarene
The Agriculturist reported that at a Salvation Army Council meeting in Summerside on Labor Day 1914, 1 Ensign John MacLeod Hardy represented the Salva- tion Army of Elmsdale. We also note the following
announcementfrom the newspaper the Agricultur- ist July 29, 1916:
A very pretty wedding took place in the Elmsdale Salvation
Army Hall on Wednesday, June 28‘“, 1916, when Lillian, the
youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ramsay, was united in marriage to Mr. Perley Pridham, Montrose. The wedding
was performed by Captain Major of Alberton Corps assisted
by Major Barr of St. John, NB. . .The hall was beautifully deco- rated for the occasion. The happy couple intend making their home in Montrose.
