The objectives of the NWMS are to enlist church members in active service through prayer, visiting the sick, the manor outreach, satellite Sunday School, Vacation Bi- ” ble School and camps. The group also has a publication World Mission Magazine, which details the work of members around the World and encourages church mem-
bers to become missionaries.
People who wanted to be part of the NWMS but who were not church members could become “associate” members of the group. The NWMS had several groups within it, one for adults, one for senior teens, one for junior teens, and a group called
theAmbassadors for children six to eleven years of age.
The presidents of the adult NWMS were: Eleanor Hardy (1981—1982); Eleanor YeO (1982—1985); Nola Rennie (1985—1991); and Connie Rennie (1991—2001).
