On June 12, 1983 the Elmsdale NYI presented a musical drama called "Making the Grade". The cast included: Amy Alcorn , Barbour, Tracey Campbell, Gail Gillian, Nancy Oliver , Nora Wallace , Gail Wallace, Pam Wilkie, Janet Yeo , Susan Yeo , Gordie Campbell, Wayne Gillian, Glen Hardy , Philip Pridham , Gordie Rodgerson and Stephen Wallace . The director was Susan Yeo and pianist was Garth MacKay . In 1984 the Elmsdale NYI raised $1,075 for the peo¬ ple in Ethiopia and do¬ nated it through the Nazarene Hunger and Disaster Fund.
