A History of Elmsdale, Elmsdale West, and Brockton, Prince Edward Island

Other people who helped were: Emily Adams, Ida Wells and Betty Pickens. On behalf of the congregation the Caring Closet Committee members were involved in a variety of caring efforts such as sending cards to the sick or sad, visiting the shut— ins and handing out treats at Christmas. The group would also give out Easter lilies. Anna Oliver still sends out cards to the sick and shut-ins on behalf of the church.
