The last year she taught in Elmsdale was 1966. After that there is no record of Junior Red Cross. O'Brien Road / Elmsdale West School District #164 - School was located about midway on the west side of the O'Brien Road on property belonging to Alfred O' Brien . It was a one-room school and when you entered you were in a porch the width of the school, and then you would move in to the classroom. The blackboard was on the north wall and the cloakroom was to the right of the black¬ board. The west side of the school had a row of windows. An outhouse had a boys and girls side with the woodshed in the middle. The playground was a small fenced-
