As well, it is designed to accommodate touring productions, community drama, and musical groups. Each year until 2004 the schools in the western part of the Western Board held a Celebration of the Arts,and Westisle Theatre was the home of the ¥ annual West Prince Music Festival. The theatre at Westisle was designed with as- "’3 sistance from the Canada Council. It has a seating capacity of 488 and is equipped

with an orchestra pit. It is claimed to have near perfect acoustics.
