Each year until 2004 the schools in the western part of the Western Board held a Celebration of the Arts, and Westisle Theatre was the home of the annual Music Festival. The theatre at Westisle was designed with asĀ¬ sistance from the Canada Council. It has a seating capacity of 488 and is equipped with an orchestra pit. It is claimed to have near perfect acoustics.
