Georgie Campbell told of an incident when her daughter Dianne decided to take one of the go-carts for a run on the road and she soon found out she had no brakes. She kept going until she was approaching the old RCMP barracks heading towards Alberton and thought she bet¬ ter get off the road. She drove the cart over the bank of the road and into the pond below Charles Ashley 's. Along came Junior Adams with a truck and he stopped and 382
