A History of Elmsdale , West, and Brockton , Darlene Blanchard Coll . Jerry and Darlene Blanchard's Mobile Canteen with Christopher, Scott and Rebecca MacDonald, children of Jamie and Karen (Adams) MacDonald they were busy taking their canteen from West Devon to Tignish . They provided this service at the annual ploughing match, horse races at both Alberton and O'Leary , conces¬ sions at Jacques Carrier Park and for a couple of winters at the weekly snowmobile races. During this time they gave back to their community, by presenting tro¬ phies for March Break Atom Hockey Tournaments and donating the prize for a collection of pre¬ serves at the Exhi¬ bition.
