Journal- Pioneer , October 5, 1979 Lillian Adams Coll. Gordon's Tours Terry Adams 's Charter Service The reason why I started this business was be¬ cause my son was in hockey and he traveled all over the Maritimes. I decided to buy a bus and haul the whole team together instead of everyone taking their own vehicles. I knew I could make a go of it in the wintertime but I was having doubts about the summer. Lucky for me the summer turned out to be as busy as the winter months with sports teams and church groups. One of the most interesting parts of Gordon's Tours is the series of excursions from this area to Peggy's Cove and other tourist attractions both on and off Island. Gordon's Tours has two 47-passenger buses. The business has two employees, Terry LeClair and Gail Doucette. 437
