still in school in Brockton. In November 2003 Bruce opened a recording studio in this house. Bruce’s goal was to have a studio where it was feasible for local songwriters to create their own CDs at a

reasonable cost. Bruce hopes to help lo- cal musicians reach markets abroad as well as help them qualify for the East Coast

Music Awards. While the studio was located on the Dock Road the following sing- ers made their CDs: Carla Butt, Robert Jones, Bruce Jones, Ann Marie Corcoran and Sandra Jones. Bruce did all the background music at first but now other people help out, or the singer may bring 1n their own assistants. In August 2004 Bruce and his family moved into a home in Huntley formerly owned by Gerard and Margaret Foley. In early 2006 Bruce and his family returned to Nova Scotia.
