The playoffs are the best of five games. The successful team is awarded the “Clark Company Trophy” which was won by the Elmsdale team last year.

The Summerside Journal Septem- ber 18, 1950 stated:

Elmsdale Retains Clark Trophy - The fourth game of the finals of the Twilight League played at Elmsdale on Tuesday evening September 12th between the local team and Bloomfield nine resulted in a win for the home team of 10-5. This game

clinched the series for the local boys and

entitles them to retain the Clark Fruit Com- pany Trophy for another year. The local teams had been in fourth place during the

scheduled season and winning the season is certainly merited. The home team got away to a good start and were never halted as the pitcher only allowed the Visiting team a few scattered hits. The only change in Bloomfield team was Wendell Stewart replaced Vance MacKay at second base in fifth inning. Elmsdale retained all their players. Umpire for this game was Hilton Barbour. Base judges:

Ivan McInnis and Thane MacNeill.
