Michael John Murphy, born in

1869 on RE.I., peddled crockery, cranberries and fish in Saskatch- ewan from 1907 to 1957 when he returned to P.E.I. He lived at

Rocky Point and peddled from

one end of the Island to the other. Although he was 88 years old in September 1957, he never wor— ried about where he would stay

for the night.
