(2 ) MARY LUBRA MARJI

MARY LUBRA MARJI (KAYS) was a sister to my grandfather Abraham. She was one of the few women peddlers on the Island in the mid 1900’s. She married and had a child Joseph when she came to the Island, but to the best of my knowledge she did not come with her husband or child. She was married to a George Kays and they had five children: Joseph, Albert, Sophia, Lydia and Melady. She often spoke about her experiences on the Island and four of the five children would end up coming to the Island to live.
