CHILDREN OF SOPHIA KAYS AND AYOUB TWEEL:

1. SALOMON (June 27, 1927- Oct.7, 1993) was born in Kfeir. He married Lorna Bruce (1937-) on Nov. 21, 1959 in Charlottetown. He was a very likable, care— free person. Everyone called him Sam. He opened a store in North River, which came to be known as Sam’s Corner. Because he was an avid fisherman, you could find anything you needed in his store that related to fishing. Sam died of cancer in 1993. Sam and Lorna had five children:

Shemla (1960- ) married in 1994 to Wayne MacIsaac,

Farris (1961-) married in 2000 to Laura Lea MacCormic,

Todd (1962-) married in 1989 to Nancy Bain,

Daren (1966-) married in 1990 to Amber MacKenZie Michael (1967—)

Michael( 1967-) 2. SAID (1930-1998) was born in Kfeir. He returned to Lebanon and married Souhaila Basset in Feb.16, 1958. He operated a grocery store on University Avenue for several years. He gradually bought up several properties around his store and was able to obtain considerable amount of real estate. He worked long hours and his store was his life. He seldom, if ever, took a holiday. He loved gardening and his grape vine produced some of the best grapes on the Island. Said died suddenly of a heart attack on April 4yh, 1998.

Said and Souhaila had five children:
