Street. Joseph’s mother lived with them. My recollection of her was an elderly lady always dressed in along black dress.

In 1949 they bought a property on the corner of Queen and Douglas in Charlottetown and Albert and Frank operated the new grocery store for several years. Later Frank would go on to work for the Provincial Government in the Housing Authority and Albert would go into

the Real Estate field. Lydia was a first cousin to my mother. She died on September 9th,

1968. A few years later, Joseph Weatherby married Helen Kabash from Brazil. After he

died in 1987, Helen returned to Brazil.

CHILDREN OF LYDIA KAYS AND JOSEPH WEATHERBY:

l. ALBERT WEATHERBY was born on November19, 1932 in Amherst Nova Scotia. In 1961 he married Yvonne Souaid from Montreal. Yvonne’s family was originally from St. Georges De Beauce Quebec near St Damien where my grandfather settled. My parents wanted to attend the wedding, so I volunteered to do the driving from Charlottetown to Montreal. It was during this trip to Montreal that I met Janet (Kousaie). We were married in Montreal on October 7th in 1962. Albert and Yvonne had three children:

George born on August 5th, 1962 in Charlottetown, married Rachelle Maalouf

from Zahle, Lebenon in 1995 and they have two children.

Joanne, born on March18, 1965 in Charlottetown, married David Roberts on

October 9th, 1993 and they have three children. They now live in Halifax where

David works as a Consultant. Lydia,born in1970 in Charlottetown, married Donald MacMillan in 1995 and they
