(1) SHAHEEN ZAKEM SHAHEEN ZAKEM was a brother to my great grandfather Habib Zakem. I have no information as to who Shaheen's wife was. Habib was married to Hillanie Tanous (1835- 1917) There is a picture of her on page 8. This is as far back as I was able to go. I was able to get a lot of information from George and Fayez Zakem who were the sons of Naif Zakem. Naif was the son of Kisma Zakem and Kisma was the son of Shaheen Zakem. Shaheen had six children: Hanna, Saad, Kizma, Barbara, Marsheh, and Moussa . I identify Shaheen as first generation the same way that I identify Habbib Zakem and Habib Marji . Shaheen's six children would be the second generation and his grand children are the third generation. Zakem Reunion 19&2, USA Mike Zakem, Fayez Zakem, Rasmyeh (Zakem) Baraket, James Zakem , George Zakem , Frank Zakem , and Ceaser Zakem. Mike and James were grandsons of Hanna, son of Shaheen. Brothers Fayez , George and Ceasers were grandsons of Kizma, son of Shaheen and Rasmyeh was granddaughter of Kizma, son of Shaheen. Frank Zakem is a great grandson of Habib Zakem who was abrother of Shaheen Zakem. 87
