There are several organizations that are concerned and involved with early childhood development. We have church groups, family services organizations, and the department of education. I have been involved in a small way with

a progressive and effective organization called CHANCES, which has put into practice Dr Mustard’s philosophy, and has been very successful throughout the

province.

Parents from all segments of our society could benefit from these programs and it is important that we all do our part to ensure that our young people are given the opportunity to develop their full potential. We all benefit when a whole community supports children.
