This story documents the claybird's evolution in this province. It is about the individuals who made it happen, their clubs, and their successes and failures. The research and documentation, to put it all in context, was extensive yet could have missed some facts that may be uncovered by future genera- tions. It will perpetuate the memory of these gunning enthusiasts who contributed to the evolution by their participation, making the sports of trap and skeet shooting the successful, and challenging, games they are today--games that provide a contest of man against moving target without extracting a toll of wildlife, yet still providing a heart pounding thrill as a fast moving clay pigeon is released with the common cry......"PULL."
