Rule #26-—Covered the challenging of any shooter by another relative to rule 25.

Rule #27-Stated the maximum bore of a gun would be No. 12 (the new club ammended this to No. 10) and stated shooters using smaller bores (No. 16) would gain a one- half yard advantage.

Rule #28-—Prohibited the use of muzzle loaders.

Rule #29-—Covered the reasons for misfires and whether or not a second target would be allowed.

Rule #30-Allowed for a fine of 50 cents which would be levied on any shooter who violated the following acts of negligence:

(A) Pointing a gun at anyone under any circumstances.

(B) Firing off a gun except when a shooter is at the mark.

(C) Closing a gun, with cartridges in, before arriving at the mark. (D) Quitting the mark without extracting a loading cartridge unfired.

(E) Having a loaded gun anywhere on the grounds except when at the mark.

With the approval of these few rules, from the 15-Page Ranelagh booklet, the regulatory base on which the new gun club would operate was established.
