Maritime Trap and Skeet Association, and Saturday attendance through September was the best the Club had ever enjoyed. The best round shot during the year by a club member was a 23 in August by Ollie Harper, although in September, during a business visit, C.I.L. representative Dunc Morrison excited all in attendance with a 24. Charlottetown Skeet shooters had never seen a 25 straight and it was a very exciting experience every time a gunner reached the doubles without a miss (remember doubles were taken following the singles), in anticipation of that long-awaited goal. The annual meeting was held the last week of September at Art Hogan's office, and plans were made for the 1953 season. Tam Gillies was nominated for President; and since he had not been able to complete his duty in 1949, he accepted the office. Vice- President was Gil Houston and Secretary/Treasurer Art Hogan. During the meeting it was reported that the Summerside Skeet Club had organized, and new ‘houses' would be constructed during the winter.
