squads should be made up in order of entry, and paid for in advance, and to facilitate this procedure Tam Gillies offered to provide a control board that could be placed on the gun rack. The balance of business at this first meeting of 1954 is recorded in the Club's minutes as follows:
"— Moved by Hugh Simpson seconded by Ralph Jenkins that Wednesday and Saturday afternoons be regular shooting periods until further notice and that Thursday evening be designated beginners night.
- That a regular schedule of shoots begin on June 2nd and that the Secretary write to Duncan Morrison for some safety posters.
- It was agreed that regular monthly meetings of club members be held the last Wednesday of each month.
- Grounds committee appointed for the season of O. S. Harper and Ron Atkinson.
- O. S. Harper asked to chair committee to organize a Dominion Day competition that would be the first Provincial Skeet Championships. He accepted and chose the following to serve with him; Hugh Simpson, Glydon Willis, T. M. Gillies and Ron Atkinson...and asked the Secretary to include in his letter to Dunc Morrison a request for information on provincial shoots and would the Maritime Association provide badges.
- It was moved by Hugh Simpson seconded by O. S. Harper that the ‘Charlottetown Skeet Club' become incorporated and he was appointed to look into the matter.
- The following prizes were offered for the 1954 skeet season. Glydon Willis - 20 lb
