Arsenault and Alan Crue from the now almost defunct Summerside club, journeyed to Charlottetown for the annual Provincial shootout. Little won the skeet title and became the first to have his name engraved on the new City of Charlottetown Trophy, donated for the event. He won in a shoot off with clubmate Arsenault and Bill Morrell, after they had registered a trio of 48's. Harley Ings broke a record 50 Straight at Trap to take that championship, and combined it with 47 at skeet to win the H.O.A (High Over-all) and the T. Eaton Co. Trophy, witha 97. The best fun of the day turned out to be the bear trap, which was won by Hazlebrook native Sterling Jenkins.
